Dr Katib completed her medical and general practice training in NSW, and enjoyed working in various hospitals across Sydney, including Westmead, Wollongong, North Shore and Ryde hospitals.

Dr Katib also had her fair share of training in rural areas such as Coffs Harbour, Shoalhaven, Shellharbour and Lithgow hospitals, followed by GP training in the Blue Mountains.

She obtained her fellowship from the Royal College of GP’s (RACGP) and was also awarded the National Certificate in Reproductive and Sexual Health (FPAA). Her areas of interest include all aspects of family medicine, with a special interest in sexual health and contraception. Dr Katib enjoys taking the time to help young families.
